It was not very long ago that the Eagle Valley School District was facing the hard reality that dissolution was our only option due to our financial circumstances. Through the selfless group of donors that came forward with a generous financial donation for our district, we were given hope that we could continue on into the future. Unfortunately, that hard reality is back. The tuition agreement we currently have with Browerville will no longer be in effect after June 30th, 2017. Without a tuition agreement our school district cannot operate beyond June 30th, 2017. Eagle Valley School District is facing the reality of dissolving once more. We learned through our first experience that dissolving is complex in nature and there are old complicated statutes that we are trying to navigate. The Eagle Valley School Board and administration is deeply saddened that this is the outcome we are facing, we were hoping to continue the positive culture and school family that has been created. We are going to continue to lean on one another as we grieve the loss of Eagle Valley School District in our communities, and we plan on finishing the rest of our school year united and committed.
Board meetings are held year-round on the second Monday of every month at 5:30 pm in the Staff Development room.
